The candidate of the APP Bayelsa State Elections, Her Excellency Kemelayefa Mercy Ogege arrives Yenagoa, meets with community leaders, different youths and entertainment bodies in her office.
In her address, she appreciates them and assures them of her commitment to the development and transformation of Bayelsa State.
She buttress on the need of unity of purpose in making Bayelsa state great again and calls for every patriotic Bayelsan to pray for Bayelsa state and invite God in the selection of the next governor.
She stated that Bayelsa state is in dare need of a leader and not a politician that is concerned about the next election or money to loot.
A leader cares about the people and the next generation,but a politician is after survival for him and his family. A politician is all about the next election.
She further stated how Bayelsans has suffered too long in the hands of bad leaders who has improvised the state and raped Bayelsa state of her glory, deprieving the youths of the employment.
She talked about her development agenda and how her purpose of running for governor of Bayelsa state came from the burning desire to fix Bayelsa.
She concluded with an assurance to give Bayelsa State quality leadership with only the interest of the people at heart when voted in.
